  2. Objectives • The students will name the organelles of an animal cell and describe their functions. • The students will use the internet to investigate the function of the organelles of an animal cell and create a podcast.

  5. Stratergies • Divide class into groups. • Provide each student with a blank template describing each organelle. • Have each student find images of organelles • Use movie maker to create podcasts and short movies. • Have each group rehearse their script prior to recording. Have them collaborate on the editing and revision of their script. • Students will record their audio portion of their podcast. • Have students save their work as a project and not a finished movie. • Have students make one finale revision on their podcast and have them save it as a finished movie.

  6. Assessment • Each group will show their podcast to the class • The class will act as movie critic and evaluate the movie
