  7. What can we do ? From the Margins PRESS FOR BETTER WASTE MANAGEMENT

  8. Necessary: Social management • Energy to pre-1971 levels • Renewables? Energy Permits? Tax Luxury use • Prevent accumulation of embodied energy on a large scale for profit. • Decentralized power generation • Equity in decision-making, access, control in the use of energy and other natural resources. • Restoring natural resources and the global commons to people. • Recycle waste • Re-localization. with true globalization (sans borders) • Population control? • Technology down-sizing? • Public generation and management of knowledge
