  1. Careers in Environmental Studies. How promising is the field? Studying the environment has always been an interesting experience for students who want to nurture their careers in unconventional fields. Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies (Hons.) is an undergraduate programme of three years. It is an interdisciplinary programme that offers students a unique course curriculum. B.A. (Hons.) Environmental Studies also includes the study of subjects like physics, chemistry, geology, ecology, earth science, biology, geography, zoology, etc. Besides the main topics, the course also covers subjects like law, economics, waste management, resource management, etc. Various universities offer this programme at different levels like undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The BA Environmental Studies course is designed to incorporate the technology and planning that will help solve several environmental issues and improve the quality of our ecosystem. This course covers the study of several problems like environmental pollution, natural resource conservation, other related issues, human impact on the ecosystem, other allied problems related to the topic, etc. Environmental Studies is the fastest developing and the most demanding field with an endless scope of research, learning, and implementation. It also allows students to get multiple job options with a well-paid and respected job profile. Aim of BA environmental studies BA Environmental Studies course aims to create awareness among people about the rapidly evolving environmental problems. The course also aims to generate specific realization among people related to the environment. This includes: It provides all the required knowledge about our living environment and other related issues. Teaches the ways to conserve biodiversity. Developing concern among the people for the environment so that they understand its importance and try to preserve and protect it.
