  3. Why do people move to the suburbs ? • It’s more convenient to shop at the shopping malls closer to home.

  4. What happened for the inner cities? • The department stores in the downtown area • maybe have to close. •  Growing crime rates and poverty •  Being less cultural life

  8. Seeing the city • There are many notable buildings in the business district. City Hall and the Opera House are both fine examples of classical architecture, and are worth a visit. From there, it’s a short walk to the main shopping area of the city where there are several large department stores and sidewalk cafes. Since the traffic can be slow, especially at rush hour, consider taking the subway. The nearest subway station is 24th Street.

Well, that’s nice, but there’s not enough there to attract people.
