  6. Professional Practice Y1 Sem 1 Week 8 KP The Standards Tracking Document You can access this electronically on the Learning Network: Year 1 General Information – Professional Development Profile (Section E) & Standards Tracking Document The Standards Tracking Document is your responsibility to complete. You cannot be recommended to the Exam Board for the award of QTS without it. Your PDT will sign this off for you at the end of your final year but can also provide you with advice and guidance on how to complete it. By the end of your final year you must have identified at least 2 or 3 pieces of evidence for EACH standard. Much of your evidence should come from SE3 and 4 although it is wise to start thinking about this now and to see the process as on-going and to have examples from all four years. It is recommended that you update your tracker each semester with current and appropriate examples of evidence. This will enable you to identify standards that you are finding difficult to meet and to use these to set targets for SE or your self-directed placements.

  7. Professional Practice Y1 Sem 1 Week 8 KP Y1 SE Assessment • In Y1 you will undertake a Paired Placement • You will however need to provide evidence of individual attainment of the standards against which you are assessed. • The Standards for assessment on SE 1 are identified on pp14 – 16 of your Y1 SE Handbook • Standards are:Q1,2,3,4,6,7,9,15,18,21,23, 25(a), 29. • The expectation is that you will achieve at least the highlighted statements to pass the practice.
