  2. New York is well known for being the third largest producer of wine in the United States, just after California and Washington. The reputation, grown not only because of the large plantation and production, but also because of the world class wine that is produced there in white and red wine.

  3. Among all the sub-regions of New York, we can find Finger Lakes, located on the south of Lake Ontario. The name of the region is due to the lakes surrounding the area that shapes like a finger silhouette.

  4. This region is a viticulture area with the largest number of vineyard plantings becoming the largest sector producer of wine in the city of New York. The area is formed by 2.6 million acres where the plantations cover eleven thousand acres, being this area the largest area in New York producer of wine.

  5. With over a hundred and fifty years of wine producing tradition, this commercial and viticulture center began the wine tradition with four leading companies that started producing remarkable wines in taste and flavor. The History
