  2. This multi-talented, sultry singer/songwriter and aspiring entrepreneur was born Kimberley where she completed her schooling. From a very young age Yollandi enchanted diverse audiences around the world with her crystal clear lyrical soprano voice. She became aware of her singing abilities at the age of eight and joined the children’s choir at church where she discovered her deep love and passion for music.

After completing her schooling Yollandi had no problem deciding which direction she wanted her life to head in and with the financial backing of her church she enrolled at Tshwane University of Technology for the B Tech Vocal Art degree. Studying Opera opened up an entirely new and exciting world of endless musical possibilities and she immersed herself into refining her craft. She participated in a plethora of student productions. In 2003 she won a scholarship to attend master classes in Berlin where she performed to critical acclaim at several gala concerts in and around Germany.

  4. Yollandi then joined the opera company The Black Tie Ensemble where she was one of the senior soloists participating in a number of Opera and Musical Theatre productions. After two years with the company she decided to spread her wings and tested the mainstream music market. She has since lent her voice to many of her fellow artists albums and most noticeably the soundtrack of the Oscar nominated movie Invictus. Yollandi, together with vocal boy band Overtone, has appeared on international talk shows such as Ellen DeGeneres and George Lopez and also had the opportunity to perform for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. She has shared the stage with numerous internationally celebrated artists such as Goapele, Sibongile Khumalo and Hugh Masekela to name a few

  5. This elegantly poised woman is not just beauty but brains too. Yollandi founded BlackDiva Entertainment in hopes of owning a multi platform media venture that focuses on music, documentary and educational entertainment. Her first step towards this goal is a partnership deal with SugaRushed Records and SugaRushed reality soap as artist manager, a show that depicts the drama and daily operations of a true recording studio. She is currently focusing on enrolling for an MBA, launching the “For The Love Of Music” concert series and setting up a performance art academy. #LovePeaceProsperity
