  1. Special Achievements of IASA Students, in Israel and Abroad 2007/8 – 2008/9

  2. Singapore International Mathematics Challenge Singapore, Spring 2008 Ranan Gross, 12th Gr. Tal Malinovich, 12th Gr. Noha Yasin, 12th Gr. Won 1st and 2nd place in the two stages of the competition, and received a special citation for creativity

  3. Yaniv Sadeh, 12th Gr. – Bronze Medal Nitzan Artzi, 12th Gr. – Honorable Mention Asian Physics Olympiad Mongolia, Spring 2008 Yaniv and Nitzan progressed to the final round and will represent Israel in the World Physics Olympiad this summer, in Vietnam.

  4. International Physics Olympiad Vietnam, Summer 2008 Nitzan Artzi, 12th Gr. – Silver Medal Yaniv Sadeh, 12th Gr. – Bronze Medal The students won shortly after graduating from IASA.

  5. International Philosophy Composition Olympiad in English Sponsored by the Ministry of Education and UNESCO Romania, Spring 2008 Tal Yankovich, 12th Gr. – 3rd place

  6. “Young Scientists” Competition Sponsored by the Bloomfield Science Museum and Intel The President’s Residence, Spring 2008 Yaniv Sadeh, 12th Gr. – 2nd place Yaniv will go on to represent Israel in Intel’s European Union Competition in Copenhagen (July 2008). Dikla Gelbard, 12th Gr. – Honorable Mention IASA students who made it into the final round of the competition: Ravid Ben-Abu, Hadar Mazig, Tal Dadiah (12th Gr.)

  7. “Young@Science” Competition Sponsored by the Weizmann Institute Spring 2008 Ravid Ben-Abu, 12th Gr. – 2nd place Ravid’s work will be submitted to the World ORT competition. Tal Dadiah, 12th Gr. – Honorable Mention

  8. Scientific Photography Competition Sponsored by the Weizmann Institute Spring 2008 Nitzan Artzi, 12th Gr. – 3rd place

  9. Outstanding IDF Musicians Spring 2008 Micah Finkelstein, 12th Gr. Nuri Koren, 12th Gr. IASA students who also participated in the IDF testing: Matan Gover, 12th Gr. Nohar Mitzner, 12th Gr. Maria Balov, 12th Gr.

  10. National Science and Security Quiz Sponsored by the Administration for Research and Development of Weapons and Technology, Ministry of Security Spring 2008 Ranan Gross, 12th Gr. Ranan progressed to the final round of the competition, along with 9 other students from all over Israel.

  11. International Model UN Conference New York, Spring 2008 Yonatan Beck, 12th Gr. Peleg Samualis, 12th Gr.

  12. Participation in the Competition for Final Research Projects in History and Art History Sponsored by the Zalman Shazar Center Summer 2008 Tom Vardi Helen Wexler Gal Zohar (all 12th Grade) Merav Bigman Yael Kimchi Tal Malinovich Elior Porat

  13. Participation in Concert held in France In cooperation with The School for Gifted Musicians Winter 2007 Matan Gover, 12th Gr. Bar Siloni, 11th Gr.
