  2. HADES • Third brother of the Olympians • The god of Wealth • The Greeks translated his name to “Dis” ,which meant rich in Latin • Owned a cap named Hades Helm which made whoever wore it in visible • His wife was Persephone, queen of the underworld • King of the Dead

  3. ATHENA • The daughter of Zeus alone(had no mother). • A fierce and ruthless battle-goddess. • Goddess of the city, protector of civilized life, handicrafts and agriculture • Inventor of the bridle • Zeus’ favorite child • Embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity.

  4. Apollo • Son of Zeus and Leto (Latona). • Born in the island of Delos • “the most Greek of all the gods • God of light • God of truth • His name means brilliant or shining
