The Adoption Process You can submit your booklist online or email it to dkorelov@follett.com *Number of copies needed is estimated based on the number of students and sales from previous years. **New copies are ordered through Publishers; used copies are ordered through Follett Warehouse. The earlier adoptions are submitted, the more time the bookstore has to order used copies.

Textbook Purchase and Rental • Used Copies • New copies • E-books • Package (hard copy + access card) • Purchase & rental*. • Replenishment: 3 - 4 weeks. • 20-30% cheaper than new copies. • Purchase & sometimes rental*. • Replenishment: 2 - 14 days. • Instantly available. Not rental. E-book card OR access code with password and URL. • Bundle-multiple hard copies/e- books. Not rental, usually new. 40-70% cheaper than individual components. *Rental is up to 50% cheaper than purchase.

  7. Where Can Students Purchase Textbooks? Students can see the books used for their classes at SMURF. Students can see the books used for their classes and purchase them in the bookstore or online.

  8. Price Match Textbook prices are matched against Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or local campus competitors. This is in store only, and it excludes: • Peer-to-peer marketplaces • Amazon’s Warehouse Deals • Deals of the Day • Lightning Deals • “Amazon Deals,” • Aggregator sites • Digital books and publisher-direct prices. • Bulk purchases.

  9. Buyback In-store or Online. The buyback pricing varies depending on the condition on the book, inventory, and enrollment, at 50-80% from the initial price. Back to “The Adoption process’

Special Orders and Discounts for Departments • We offer special bulk orders for the GM, gift products, medical equipment. • Most products specially ordered can have the SMU embroidery, emblems, etc. • Discounts of 20 % for bulk/special departmental orders for the GM, Gift, and convenience products;10% for the faculty members individual purchases. • Discounts for textbooks, computer, and graduation products, are not offered for faculty or departmental orders.
