Nazi Party Platform (1920) • What is a Party Platform? • It is a statement of a what a political party believes in, and what they would do if they took power. • Examples: • http://www.democrats.org/about/party_platform • http://www.gop.com/2008Platform/ • What does it do? • It helps keep party members in line. • It helps new members find a party that they agree with.
