  5. Major Accomplishments • Addressed all open technical issues in previous drafts. • Resolved how security will be handled • Draft amendments approved for generation of D09 that will go to letter ballot. • Adopting the 802.3 comment resolution tools. John Barr, Motorola

Draft Status report D08 • D08 released 7 November 2001 • D08 approved by TG3 on 12 November 2001 New edits • Updated draft with new technical content • Closed all outstanding technical issues • 23 editorial issues still outstanding • New text due to Gilb by 27 November 2001 • D09 due out by 6 December, 2001 John Barr, Motorola

Status All open technical items in D08 were closed or written and will be included in D09 All changes representing these issues are captured in approved amendment document 01/496r1 and security document 01/530r3. (vote to approve 16/0/0) The motion to forward the Draft Standard 000d09P802-15_TG3 for letter ballot passed the Task group with a vote of 19/0/1 John Barr, Motorola
