Who is Our Enemy??? Ephesians 6:12 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Lucifer (Isaiah 14:2), Satan (I Chron 21:1), Beelzebub (Matt 10:25) Lucifer means “Son of the Morning” (A heavenly name given to him by God, as he was the “Chief Musician” in heaven.) Only 1 recorded instance of this name in the Bible, where there are numerous mentions of the other names he is most known by; Devil=125, Satan=50 Satan means “ The Accuser” & another name for the Devil, Rev 20:2 The Word of God fashions and shapes our perceptions and our approach to our adversary (St. John 10:10) The repetition of Lucifer’s other names; is the Bible’s way of identifying who are adversary is Who is Our Enemy???
KNOWING YOUR ENEMY Why is this important? For Knowledge Sake… Hosea 4:6 “My people destroyed for the lack of knowledge.” II Corinthians 11:14 “Lest Satan should get an advantage over us, for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
Why is this important? So you can be properly equipped to fight against your enemy Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. So you will appreciate the “Power” that it takes in order to defeat your enemy Luke 10:19*, Acts 19:13-17*, II Corinth 10:4* KNOWING YOUR ENEMY
Why is this important? So you will appreciate the “Power” that it takes in order to defeat your enemy Acts 1:8 “And ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.” It takes “Power” to fight in this spiritual battle and a simple “CONFESSION” or “DECLARATION” of Salvation does not adequately equip one to fight. (Romans 10:9) KNOWING YOUR ENEMY

“He Doesn’t Exist” The Devil has “Romanticized” himself in the world to those who follow him. That’s why in many circles his still referred to as “Lucifer- The Son of the Morning” “Fallen Angel” And, to them “he doesn’t exist” in the way that he is viewed according to scripture It’s an EXPECTATION for the world to have this view the Devil But, it’s DANGEROUS when the church adopts the same view of our enemy
