  2. Urban Area Imagery

  3. DOI and other Federal planning—FY06 • Any Federal contributions to urban area imagery? • Identify Federal needs for workshops/training (see handout—need reply ASAP) • Any Federal reimbursable funding for other data---10-m DEMs? • DOI HP solicitation—please be thinking about possibilities (1-m DEM completion, LIDAR, Tulare subbasin, NAIP CIR deliverable)

  4. Project Homeland status • 3 servers installed (Berkeley, SF, Napa) • Viewer will see some enhancements • MOUs—few signed, mostly still pending • Lessons learned report delivered • Build web service for NM display (CAP) • Administrative functions (CAP) • Long term strategy for funding, roles and responsibilities, tie to state and other HS initiatives, etc.

  5. USGS reorganization • Still in transition period • Moving toward a single technical operations center (location, scope, staffing, tbd) • Increased liaison function and focus toward state strategic planning • Assessment of traditional products • “Simplify and unify” national geospatial programs

  6. Announcements • CAP grants: open till June 16 • 4 platforms this year: • Metadata (30k) • Framework web feature services (50k) • Institution building (20k) • NSDI stewardship/NM building (50k) • Job announcements—thank you and keep them coming !
