  2. • Select the Account Type pull-down menu in the Server Information section and choose either POP or IMAP. • Enter the incoming mail server name as gmail.com if you have chosen the POP server protocol for your account. • Type the incoming mail server name as gmail.com if you have selected IMAP as your account type. • Enter the outgoing server name as gmail.com in the text field. • Fill the User Name and Password fields with your Gmail address and its password in the Login Information section. • Access the More Settings button and select the Outgoing Server tab. • Mark the My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication checkbox, and select the Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio button. • Go to the Advanced tab and enter the server port numbers. • For POP, enter 995 and select SSL from the drop-down bar for an encrypted connection for configure gmail in outlook. • For IMAP, enter 993 as the port number and select SSL for a secure connection. • For SMTP, enter 465 and choose SSL for an encrypted connection. • Close the More Settings window and click on the Test Account Settings button to verify your server settings. • Now, the Gmail account is configured successfully on Microsoft Outlook. • You can contact our technical experts for remote assistance for configure gmail in outlook.
