  2. Overview • Team of industry experts in; workforce planning, recruiting, integration, employment contracts and immigration • ~450 clinician hires annually (~800 with Advocate) • 700 onsite physician and ~500 in person APC interviews in 2018 • 73% of offers made are accepted

  3. Vital • Recruiting is vital to the long term success of the medical group • You serve as a representative of the organization • Your patients and the patients of Aurora Health Care Medical Group depend on your active involvement in selecting high quality clinicians to join the practice

  4. Participate • Be present for interviews when asked • Remember to actually interview the candidate • Candidates are interviewing us, just as we are interviewing them • An interview is not the place to air grievances • Complete the interview evaluation

  5. What Not to Ask • Questions related to any of the following • Age • Race, ethnicity, color • Gender identity • Country of origin or birthplace • Religion • Disability • Marital or family status

  6. Instead Ask • Behavior based questions • Give me an example of a time when… • About their interest in Wisconsin, Advocate Aurora Health • Questions addressing red flags

  7. Referral Bonus Program • All employed Aurora Health Care team members below the VP level and not directly involved in the candidate’s recruitment are eligible to refer a qualified MD or DO and receive a referral bonus.* • $10,000 for each full-time MD/DO hired to fill an approved standard vacancy • $20,000 for each full-time MD/DO hired to fill an approved critical need vacancy • To qualify, team members must provide contact information for the referred physician and email the current CV of the referred physician to the Physician Services and Recruitment Department. • The referral bonus will be paid with the team members normal bi-weekly pay/draw after the referral confirmation and the referred provider begins employment.
