Policy and Strategies - I • Late 70’s early 80’s: Direct disposal of SNF without reprocessing • The reactor owners shall manage and dispose of the SNF and HLW in Sweden • Expenses covered by revenues from the energy production giving rise to HLW and SNF • SNF/HLW is managed / disposed in Sweden - only by exception disposal of foreign waste • The State has the ultimate responsibility Johan Anderberg
