The Smart Board is much more interactive than a whiteboard. Using a Smart Board is fairly simple. The projector is connected to the computer, the an image of the computer screen is shown on the Smart Board. Advantages and Disadvantages Of a Smart Board Advantages: The Smart Board is a great encouragement for students since it is a newer way of learning which is at the same time fun for the students. Another advantage of the Smart Board is that it includes several programs which can make teaching much easier for teachers. Disadvantages: The Smart Board wastes lots of electricity which can be harmful to our environment. Another advantage of the Ipad is that it is a completely powerful device which can last a very long time with an average amount of power. Disadvantages: One disadvantage of the Ipad is that the Ipad is heavier than the kindle. The second disadvantage is that the Ipad cannot take any pictures or video chat with Skype.
