  5. S1 - Comments • PT Excusal Forms • I need to see them before I mark someone as excused. Otherwise, that cadet is marked as unexcused. • Excusal slips cannot be given after an event. Must be given prior to the event or else that Cadet is “unexcused” (except for emergencies or other unusual circumstances). • If a Cadet is sick and cannot complete an event, they still must come to the event, will be allowed to leave or sit out, and will be marked as “present.” They cannot skip the event and try to get/give an excusal later.

  18. TAC AAR (MS3’s Teach) Issue: Planning Discussion: MS3’s were assigned as instructors for the each lab and were instructed to plan accordingly. Planning for the first week of this lab was not to standard and impacted the training considerably. Recommendation: Planning for these labs should start more than 3 weeks prior. MS4 overseers periodically check the MS3 leadership and ensure training of the trainers. Issue: Visual Aids Discussion: Classroom portion of classes had little or no visual aids. Classrooms became a lecture and were not affective. Recommendation: Review lesson plans and have MS3’s teach the class to MS4’s prior to lab. Utilize all resources available to us.
