Kinds of Animals? • Mammals – animals who drink milk from their mother. • Fish – swim and breathe water. • Reptiles – are cold blooded and lay eggs. • Birds – lay eggs, have feathers and most fly. • Amphibians – can breathe above and below the water, can live above and below water and also lay eggs.

  3. Where do they live? • Animals live in the oceans, forests, mountains, grasslands, tundra, rivers and lakes, and many other places.

  4. All Kinds of Animals….. • Animals come in all shapes and sizes. Many animals look alike and many look very different.

  5. What do they eat? • Some animals are carnivores. (They eat meat.) • Some animals are herbivores. (They eat plants.) • Some animals are omnivores. (They eat both meat and plants.)
