  • EGNOS : European Geostationary navigation Overlay System : improvment GPS performance by augmentation
  • Hosting entity and operator with French Civil Aviation authority of EGNOS PACF (Performance Assessment and Checkout Facility) which handles all system operations and check its performance
  • Hosting entity for EGNOS components (reference stations in French Guyana, South Africa and France)

ATV-CC operations control centre for European cargo spacecraft designed to resupply the International Space Station

  • The ATV-CC is the main control centre for the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV). ESA has tasked CNES with developing and operating this centre, located at the Toulouse Space Centre.
  • The ATV-CC will operate and coordinate all ground facilities involved in ATV operations, working closely with control centres in Houston and Moscow
  • The Toulouse Space Centre will have mission responsibility throughout the ATV flight and ISS rendezvous phases, and on the ATV’s return (during the de-orbiting phase).
  • First launch is scheduled end 2007 on Ariane 5 from Kourou
