  2. O bioma Pantanal com seus 250.000 km2 é considerado a maior superfície inundável do mundo, dividido entre o Brasil (60%), o Paraguai e a Bolívia. A parte brasileira se localiza na Bacia do Alto Rio Paraguai, na região centro - oeste. Por sua proximidade ao bioma Amazônia, a biodiversidade do Pantanal é espetacular.

  3. Biodiversidade de espécies pantaneiras.

  4. O tuiuiú é uma ave pernalta, tem pescoço nu, preto, e, na parte inferior, o papo também nu e vermelho. A plumagem do corpo é branca e a das pernas é preta. Ele chega a ter 1,4 metros de comprimento e mais de 1 metro de altura, e pesar 8 kg. A envergadura (a distância entre as pontas das asas, abertas) pode chegar a quase 3 metros. O bico tem 30 cm, é preto e muito forte e a fêmea, geralmente, é menor que o macho.Devido a sua beleza exuberante, chama a atenção de todos os turistas que freqüentam o Pantanal.
