Participating Chinese Schools for Performing Arts Exchange • Shanghai: • Shanghai Yan’an High School • and schools from Changning District • Nanjing: • Nanjing Zhonghua Middle School • Nanjing No.1 High School • Nanjing No.9 High School • Beijing: Yucai School They will be bring us Chinese folks orchestra, dance, symphony orchestra, vocals and many more~

  14. Proposed performing venues • Exchanging performances are arranged by local Government Education Bureaus • Venues may be in either public halls or school halls In Shanghai, the proposed venues are: Childrens’ Palace of Shanghai Changnin District

  18. Schools activities • Experience Chinese students daily lives • Workshops for Chinese painting, traditional instrument, handcrafts, etc.

  19. Proposed Itinerary • Day 1 (14th Sept., Sun.) Sydney - Shanghai (via Guangzhou with China Southern Airlines) • Meet at Sydney International Airport. • Fly to Shanghai • Transport to hotel after arrival.

  20. Day 2 (15th Sept., Mon.) Shanghai • Visit Pudong District M50 Arts and Creative Park • Visit local schools • Rehearsal • - Concert

  21. Day 3 (16th Sept., Tue.) Shanghai • Stroll on Nanjing Road: the pedestrian street with shopping malls. • Visit ‘Yu’ Garden, bargain for souvenirs. • River Bund walking • Night cruise on Huangpu River.

  22. Day 4 (17th Sept., Wed.) Shanghai - Nanjing • Transfer to City of Nanjing in the morning • Visit Nanjing Museum – 2nd largest museum in China • Visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum

  23. Day 5 (18th Sept., Thu.) Nanjing • Visit local schools for cultural exchanges • - Experience Chinese paintings & instruments etc • Rehearsal • Music performance with local students

  24. Day 6 (19th Sept., Fri.) Nanjing – Yangzhou – Nanjing • Day tour to Yangzhou City • Visit ‘Ge’ Garden • Visit Slender West Lake

  25. Day 7 (20th Sept., Sat.) Nanjing • Visit Hongshan Forest Zoo • Visit Yunjing (Embroider) Research Institute • Visit Zhonghua Gate • Visit Confucius’ Temple with more than 1000 years.

  26. Day 8 (21st Sept. Sun.) Nanjing – Beijing • Catch bullet train to Beijing in the morning • Visit Temple of Heaven after arrival.

  27. Day 9 (22nd Sept. Mon.) Beijing • Visit Great Wall: the Chinese Landmark • Schools exchange activities

  28. Day 10 (23rd Sept., Tue.) Beijing • City sight-seeing: • The Forbidden City, Olympic Park, Tian An Men Square

  29. Day 11 (24th Sept., Wed.) Beijing - Sydney • Via Guangzhou (China Southern Airlines) • Visit Summer Palace in the morning, • Then transfer to Beijing Shoudu Int’l Airport heading back to home. • Day 12 (25th Sept., Thu.) Sydney • Meet parents at Sydney Int’l Airport.

  31. Accommodation • Shanghai/Beijing: 3\4 Stars Hotels with hot buffet breakfast • Nanjing: International Students Apartment in Yangzi High School with Breakfast in canteen

  33. Student Cost The cost of this tour is A$3,500.00 per student with share accommodation. Package Inclusions: 1.International Return Airfares Economic class incl. Sydney, and China Airport Tax. 2.Domestic train tickets return between Nanjing and Beijing. 3.Full Accommodation at 3 or 4 stars Hotel on Twin Sharing with Daily Buffet Breakfast when on the tour to Shanghai, Yangzhou & Beijing; Up to 4-share school apartment with western style toilets in Nanjing. 4.3 Meals per Day Including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 5.Transportation between cities and in the cities including Luxury air conditioned coaches. 6.Extra vehicle for transporting instrument and luggage in cities of China. 7.Friendly English Speaking Tour guide. 8.Park and Activities Admission Fees Listed in Itinerary. 9.Tips to the Tour Guide and Coach Driver Also Included: 1.Visa Application Fee: A$98.50 Per Person for Single Entry for Australian Passport. 2.Overseas Travel Insurance. Under age of 50 for 12 days as at year 2013. Parent tour: The cost of this tour is A$3,500.00 per person with share accommodation. Single supplement: A$450 (minimum required number 15ppl)
