O.P.E.N. your classroom to 21st century learners This session provides an opportunity for participants to assess their digital toolbox and look into key factors that make technology implementation in education a success: Optimizing technology Planning that provides solutions Engaging students and setting realistic learning goals. Networking ideas to work efficiently in this new learning environment. Including great websites for integration and professional development as well as techniques to enrich your technology toolbox. We will share ideas and information regarding our success in using blogs and wikis. Additionally, we will discuss influential technologies such as document cameras, student response systems, interactive whiteboards and tablets as well as other tools and ideas to be considered when creating a progressive learning environment geared toward 21st century learners. This session is for all grade levels, content areas and experience levels.
