  2. LEGGI CON ATTENZIONE IL BRANO E POI RISPONDI ALLE DOMANDE IL CANE AMICO Nelle prime ore del mattino, in riva al mare, ho incontrato un cane. Il cane stava fermo, con le zampe nell’acqua: aveva la museruola e fissava l’orizzonte come un prigioniero. Passando anch’io scalza nell’acqua lo guardai. Il grande cane mi guardò. Aveva gli occhi verdi e dolci e un’espressione leale. Il suo dorso era alto, grigio, con alcune macchie brune.

  3. Mi seguì. Sentivo i suoi passi nell’acqua, dietro di me, come quelli di un bambino. Mi raggiunse, mi toccò lievemente col muso per avvertirmi che era lì, come per chiedermi il permesso di accompagnarmi. Mi voltai e gli accarezzai la testa di velluto. In quel momento sentii che anch’io finalmente avevo nel mondo un amico.
