Reading • Anthology – excerpts from novels • Leveled Readers (small group) • Practice skills of theme • Predicting, noting details, summarizing, cause/effect, etc. • Novels • Hatchet, Small Steps, Island of the Blue Dolphin, Maniac Magee, Tuck Everlasting, & The Phantom Tollbooth • Supplemental reading / handouts

  24. 4th period – Enrichment Time • If you have a student in band, orchestra or choir – please go to the auditoriumto hear from the music teachers about their performance classes! (should be on schedule already) • Encourage you to take a self-guided tour of the building, or make your way to the cafeteria for refreshments.  • Booths such as PTA, etc.
