  7. HIV Exposed (HEI) Graduation Celebration "The doctors really supported me. They told me to adhere to my medications and clinic dates. I followed everything they told me and today I am here with my baby graduating and my baby is HIV negative. I don’t know what to tell all the doctors here the only thing I can say is that God bless you”Mother of a graduating HEI • Nyanza districts organized successful HIV exposed infant graduation ceremonies • Celebrated over 300 infants completing 18 months of follow-up with HIV negative status • HEI currently in follow up also attended; motivation for continued follow up • The celebration included entertainment by the children’s club members; gifts for the mothers and children; interactive forums to share experiences and lessons learned among moms; and speeches by district officials. There were health talks on best practices for feeding, antenatal visits, immunization, hospital delivery, family planning and male involvement as well.

Cervical Cancer Screening and Prevention (CCSP) CCSPCervical Cancer Screening and Prevention • 45 facilities in Nyanza supported • 13,045 women screened and managed for since 2007 • 4,624 women screened in the past year (Jul’12-Jun’13) among which 244 screened positive and were treated and referred accordingly Cryotherapy at Mbita District Hospital

Rongo hosted its first World AIDS Day Run as well
