They had “Little Wars.”
CHEROKEE: Winter and Summer House
The Cherokee live in towns of 30 to 60 familys.
In the center of the towns they built a seven side council house.
In there long house they had council meeting.
Men hunted deer with bows and arrows. They used spears to catch fish.
They ate corn, beans, and squash.
Cherokee and Iroquis lived on
Cherokee Fried Hominy
A few pieces of Onion if desired
One or two Cans of White Hominy
Several Strips of Bacon (as much as you want )
Black Pepper to taste
1/2 cups rasins
4 cups precooked blue corn meal
1 cup sprouted wheat
2 cups precooked yellow corn meal
6 cups water
1/2 cup brown sugar
We like this region because we got to learn about two different cultures.
