  2. EACPR : Celebrating 10 years of achievements • The European Journal of PreventiveCardiologyisnowranked30/124 in Cardiac & Cardiovascular Systems. Submissions are increasing, and 12 issues are now published each year. • Westartedwith a spring meeting in Leuven in 2004. 10 yearslater, EuroPReventis the meeting place for preventivecardiology, with over 900 abstracts submitted, and between 1200-1800 attendees, from 83 countries eachyear. EACPR : Celebrating 10 years of achievements • Scientific contribution from the EACPR Sections: • Leadingscientificprojects and inventories : HeartQoL, SmarTEX, OptimEX, EuroEX, ECRIS, EuroCaReD, EXPERT, and more • WritingPosition papers, recommendations and joint statementswith ESC constituent bodies and sistersocieties • Contributing to ESC Guidelines on CVD Prevention, AMI- Stemi, Diabetes, Dyslipidemias, PeripheralArterialDisease, HeartFailure, non-Stemi, ACS (Task Force members & reviewers) • ProvidingHow to articles, and Lifestyle & CVD Literaturecomments • Contributing to the ESC Textbook on PreventiveCardiology P Dendale, EACPR Secretary

EACPR : Celebrating 10 years of achievements • We have developed practical tools for risk assessment in daily practice • 15 000 Health Professional Toolkit were distributed across Europe • HeartScore is now used by 25 000 health professionals and is available in 17 languages • Our education portfolio is growing: • 25 eLearning courses have been produced in the past two years • Regular master classes are now offered during EuroPRevent • Each year, EACPR organises several educational courses Paul Dendale, EACPR Secretary

EACPR : Celebrating 10 years of achievements International relations • EACPR organisedEuropeanSummits on CVD Preventionin 2008 and 2010. • Since 2013 EACPR initiated Global CVD Preventionactivities, with the World HeartFederation and over 25 partnersocietieswith 2 Global Forums on CVD Prevention and leadership meetings, to support the 25x25 United Nation goal. • 59 National CVD PreventionCoordinatorshave been appointed in ESC member countries • In 2013, EACPR launched a « prevention in your country » initiative, whichpresents reports from ESC member countries on CVD Prevention. • WithEuroPRevent 2014 and 2015, we are focussing on Global CardiovascularHealth & Addressinginequalities in cardiovascularhealth.
