  2. Whatis PCPI? • Itisaninitialprogram of vocationalqualifications. • Forstudentsagedbetween 15 and 20 • WithoutCompulsorySecondaryEducationdegree. • Combiningvocational and academic training. • Theduration 2 years. • Tostudentswithoutintellectualdisabilities (only in Basque Country)

  3. And whentheyfinish… what can they do? • Gotowork • Goto CFGM (VET ISCED 2) forstudentwithCompulsorySecondaryEducationdegree.

  4. How are our PCPI´S students? • Come fronbrokenfamilies (familyviolence, drugsconsumption , schoolfailure) • Lack of motivationtostudy • Lowself-esteem • Repeatedexperiences of failure in studies • Withpoor social skills

  5. What can we do with them? • First at allhearthem (theirproblems, wishes, dreams..) • Motivatethemtostudy • Show themthatthey can learn • Look forsomethingtheylike (cars, machines…) • Givingsecond chances (and third and fourth ..)

  6. SOLUTIONS TO OUR STUDENTS • They can getthecompulsarysecondaryeducationdegree. • Iftheycan´tgetitwehelpthemtofind a job.
