  9. Galatians 5:17 (NLT) The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.

  11. 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 [14] Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can goodness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? [15] What harmony can there be between Christ and the Devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?

I will be their God, and they will be my people. [17] Therefore, come out from them and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don't touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.

  15. 2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretensionthat sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

  16. CHARACTER (SECULAR) A commitment to a code of human behavior that the majority feels is socially, morally, and politically acceptable. GODLY CHARACTER A commitment to live according to the Will of God as revealed in the God-trained conscience, the God-inspired Word, and the God-filled life of Jesus—no matter what the cost or sacrifice.
