  4. Editing • Editing focuses on sentence level issues • Improving transitions • Correcting grammar • Editing generally means that work of writing is over

  5. Revision • Revision deals with the big picture of writing (think re: seeing). • Improving examples • Changing structure • Refine your argument • Change whole paragraphs

Revision • In this class, and in particular with this paper, we are considered with revision • So, how do we revise? • Be critical of your own writing • Have other be critical of your writing (already did this) • Don’t be afraid to un-write (super hard) • Don’t just fix your grammar • Things to remember • We don’t get it right the first time • You win some and you lose some • You can improve your writing!
