  30. Game Changer Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lpi13TmwPTI&feature=youtu.be

  31. Reason for Game Changer Definition of Insanity Must make location a positive Find greater resources / scholarship dollars Did well without it – What can we do with it? Simple Question - If you are a player in Pennsylvania who resides somewhere other than Lancaster County, would you drive past closer PSAC schools, who offer you more scholarship $ and also have better recent history / tradition to come to Millersville if basing your college choice in large part on Football? The answer is no. Identifying the Problem- In recruiting exclusively PA, we are asking recruits to attend MU, while offering less scholarship $, having 13 years without winning, and with a location that asks kids to drive by many of our other 15 competitors to come here. How do we take our negatives and make them positives?

  32. Game Changer Goals • Put Millersville Football at the top of PSAC East in Scholarships • Raise scholarships from 6.6 FTE to 16 + FTE • Goal Amount to Raise - $186,000 • Scholarship for the 2013-2014 school year are - $107,000 • Proposed Scholarship for 2014-2015 school year are - $300,000 • Solidify scholarship totals to allow for stability in recruiting

  33. Game Changer Strategy • Unify the Alumni Base – Strength in Numbers • Inform the Alumni of this plan and it’s structure • Organize the timing and execution of the drive • Reach out to Alumni with social media, game and practice invites and golf outing • Show positive gains for the football program both on and off the field • Develop and appoint a Football Executive Committee to help execute the plan • Meet with the Executive Committee on the Friday before Spring Game (2014) • Install the plan with the Executive Committee at that time. • Meet with the Executive Committee again in late July (2014) the night before the MU Football golf outing. • Announce funding raised at the golf outing and push further scholarship raising amounts.
