  3. Starting Questions • Have you ever been to a post office when you went abroad? If yes, what was your experience? If no, please try to imagine how can you get your mail/package delivered in a post office? • E-mail is a popular form of correspondence nowadays. Do you think sending someone a letter by mailing is outdated? Why or why not? • What can you do after you send a package by express?  You can check on the delivery status of your mailing by the label or receipt number.

Sample Conversation- In a Post Office (A man wants to send some urgent mails and he takes a number and waits. ) • C: Can I help the next person, please. • M: Yes, I want to send some registered mails. • C: O.K. What are they? • M: They are books. • C: You can mail them as printed matter. It would be cheaper. • M: That’s very nice of you. I also want to mail them by express. • C: O.K. That will be 215 NT dollars. • M: Here you are. May I have a receipt? • C: Sure, wait a moment please. • M: Thank you. • C: Here is your change and receipt. Have a nice day.
