The Coweta County Parent Resource Center offers many services for the residents of Coweta County. • Stepping Stones – a program that provides new mothers with information on new born parenting skills. • Puddle Jumpers – a parenting program for parents and toddlers ages 2-3. • Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy – provides books to prepare children from birth to age 5 for reading and learning success. Information to sign up is available on site. • Monday’s Child Parenting Classes – a class for parents of challenging children. Usually consisting of 4-6 sessions, one day per week. • Parenting resources - books & videos are available for families to check-out. • Computers - available for parents to access. • Information - on Coweta County Resources for families. • Other – classes are created as needed to assist Title I parents. 22 Nimmons Street Newnan, GA 30263 770-254-1985 Monday – Friday Open when Coweta Schools are in session. (8:00 a.m. til 4:00 p.m.) Janie Cantrell is the Parent Resource Center Coordinator. She has been employed by the Coweta County School System for many years. She is a tremendous resource for parents. Her genuine compassion and resourcefulness will assist parents seeking solutions to their various situations.
