  3. Overall introduction Fossil fuel emission and the cutting of rain forests can cause serious problems!

  4. Stand point • It is widely believed that legislation should be introduced to reduce fossil fuels emission and the cutting of rain forests. • As far as we concerned, we agree with the idea.

  5. The cutting of rain forests

  6. Fossil fuels emission

  7. Supporting Details 1 The formation of climate change 2 Problem of acid rain 3 Desertification 4 Disturb the balance of ecosystem

  8. Climate change • Climate change is the caused by the effects that human bring. • Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions.

  9. Acid rain • Acid rain is a rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic, meaning that it possesses elevated levels of hydrogen ions (low pH).

  10. Acid Rain • Acid rain is caused by the pollution of fossil fuels.

  11. Acid rain Plants damaged Adverse effect Surface waters and aquatic ani-mals Human health effects Other adverse effects Soils

  12. Acid rain

  13. Desertification • Desertification is a type of land degradation in which a relatively dry land region becomes increasingly arid, typically losing its bodies of water as well as vegetation and wildlife. • It is caused by a variety of factors, such as climate change and human activities. • Desertification is a significant global ecological and environmental problem

  14. Desertification

  15. The effects to ecosystem • The definition of ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment , interacting as a system. • You can see that ecosystem is very impotant to us.

  16. Conclusion • Overall , our conclusion is that fossil fuels emission is bad to our ecosystem. We think legislation should be introduced to reduce fossil fuels emission and the cutting of rain forests.
