  1. What I Know About Hairy- Eared Dwarf Lemurs! A cute hairy-eared dwarf lemur!

  2. Description! 1. Lemurs were found in 1989 in northeastern Madagascar. The length of adults is 5.31 inches, and weighs up to a ¼ OF A POUND. Its fur is brownish gray in color with whitish underparts, and it has a reddish brown tail.

  3. Habitat! 2.They live in the lowlands in Madagascar. Lemurs sleep in holes of large trees in the rainforest.

  4. Endangerment! 3.The lemurs are sometimes caught in traps and eaten by locals. Also their houses (trees) are being cut down.

  5. Adaptations! 4.With its small size, it is able to out-climb most predators . The predators are owls and humans.

  6. Food web! 5. Lemurs are herbivores. They eat tree bark, they also eat locust (a type of grasshopper).

  7. Other 6. Did you know that there are plans by the government to protect its remaining habitat.

  8. Other 7. Did you know that males and females remain together for life, and the female may give birth to only one young.
