CARACTERÍSTICAS 1) Forma: texto que apresenta elementos metalingüísticos, que cria um jogo de dizer não dizendo. 2) Apresentação da sociedade carioca do fim do século XIX, mostrando a política do favor. Componentes sociais: D. Glória, Bentinho, Capitu, João Pádua, Tio Cosme, Prima Justina, Padre Cabral e José Dias.

  3. CARACTERÍSTICAS 3) Ironia fina que aparece nas entrelinhas do texto. 4) Romance composto por memórias vagas, que precisam de nosso trabalho de preencher lacunas. 5) Divisão da obra em duas partes: • 1 – 54: idílio amoroso • 55 – 101: ciúme se torna protagonista
