Résumé • a brief document that summarizes your education, employment history, and experiences that are relevant to your qualifications for a particular job for which you are applying • include • Objective • Education • Work Experience • Contacts • Optional: • Computer skills • Honors and awards • Languages • Certifications • Volunteer experience • Hobbies and interests • Foreign travel • Professional memberships • Community service, etc.

  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) • an overview of your life's accomplishments, most specifically those that are relevant to the academic realm • used almost exclusively when one is pursuing an academic job •  include • your name and contact information, • an overview of your education, • your academic and related employment (especially teaching, editorial, or administrative experience), • your research projects (including conference papers and publications), • and your departmental and community service. 

  4. Alternative Assignment • Bio Cube: http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/cube_creator/ • Present your bio cube to the class.

  5. Quote • Select one quote from your book that vividly exemplifies your subject’s personality, philosophy, etc. • Present to class on the relevance of your quote.

  6. Q-Matrix • As you present, students will be composing three questions using the q-matrix. • Be prepared to respond to the questions and demonstrate how much you know about the subject of your selection.
