  2. General purpose M-bus communicator software is intended for easy and automated reading of remote meters. It can be installed locally or on a server station, allowing multiple user access. Major advantage of the program is creation of automated events for reading (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and easy calculation and billing options. Number of networks and nodes, defined in the database, is practically infinite, which makes the software ideal solution for landlords and building investors.

  3. Supported meters and protocols MBus Communicator can read different type of devices, including: • M-bus devices - water-, heat-, gas- and electricity meters. Pulse counters. • Modbus devices – electricity meters and pulse counters • IEC 61107 protocol via RS-485 network – electricity meters • Special protocols by client request

  4. Communication possibilities • RS-232 interface • RS-485 interface • TCP interface • GSM/GPRS interface • Phone line interface (through Gineers phone line modem)

  5. Basic features • SQL server database • Multi-level structure (building->group->meter) • Automated reading events, unlimited • Four levels of user access control • Detailed reports • Calculation and billing, including VAT • Consumption charts/histograms

Additional possibilities Software has some additional useful functions like: • Shared calculation (percentage) for a meter between more than one customer • Grouping a device in more than one group • Algorithm for automated leakage detection • Comparison between sum of meters and one Main meter • Remote terminal access to SQL (granted from security settings) • WEB enabled – if some group is allowed for that, data can be seen and updated on Gineers WEB portal for AMR • Export of reports, calculation, etc. to *.CSV • Import of meter database from external file • Possibility for upgrades by client request
