3. Early life • Born in Kiel Holstien • Planck as a young man, 1878 • Sixth child in the family • He was taught astronomy , mechanics and mathematics • He graduated at the age of 17 • He was a skilled musician • Instead of music he took physics • Went to college at The University of munich

4. later career • Max plank became a profesor at the Berlin university • He was awarded the nobel prize for his work on the quantum theory

5. Family March 1887 Planck married Marie Merck.They had four children, Karl , the twins Emma and Grete and Erwin. After several years his wife died. On march 1911 max Planck married his second wife Marga von Hoessli. That December his fifth child Herman was born.

7. Biography • Max plank was a famous scientist. He was the 6th child in his family. He graduated at 17. He won the nobel prize for his work on the quantum theory. He had a large family of 4 and when his wife died he remarried and had another named herman. Max was also a very skilled musician but chose science over music .he studied mathmatics , mechanics and astronomy.
