Calculating average rent

Calculating Average Rent

  • Multiply the number of units by the average rent for each room type = total rent. Then add all those total rents and divide by the total amt of units = PACE Rent

  • Example – 10 one bedrooms (column 2) x $1,000 (column 3) = $10,000 (column 4).

    & 10 two bedrooms x $1,500 = $15,000.

  • Totals - 20 apartments & $25,000 total rent

    $25,000 divided by 20 apts. = $1,250 PACE Rent
