  2. Overview • AP 5056 • Stakeholder Involvement • Elements of Successful Programs • Implementation Expected – Fall 2012

  3. Student Eligibility • Earna 2012 High School Diploma from Alvord Unified School District (AUSD) or Riverside Unified School District (RUSD). • Successfully complete and submit the 2012-2013 FAFSA application. • Complete and sign the RCC-Completion Counts Student Participation Contract.

  4. Student Eligibility cont. • Attend the Completion Counts orientation and information requirements. • Meet eligibility requirements for: Basic English Composition (ENG-50) and Intermediate Algebra (MAT-35) or higher starting the fall 2012 semester.

  5. Student Must: • Maintain full-time enrollment (15 units or more) each semester. • Enroll in Englishand Mathematicscourses during their first semester at RCC. • Identify aneducational goal and complete a 2-year Student Educational Plan (SEP) with a RCC counselor. • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA each semester. • Keep direct contact with counselor services once per semester (Fall/Spring). • Obtaincounselor/educational advisor approval for any changes in class schedule including the adding and/or dropping of classes.

  6. RCC Guarantees • Access to English and math courses during the first year • Priority registration • Counseling services to complete a 2-year Student Education Plan (SEP) with a RCC counselor • Follow-up counseling services
