Tri-Mentoring Program: • First Generation Project • First generation student definition: someone whose parent(s) did not attend or obtain a post-secondary education anywhere in the world • Specific programming that aims to increase the number of First Generation students in the post-secondary education system, whether it be in college, university, or in an apprenticeship program.

Professional and Professionally-Related Electives Direct Entry (DE) - A total of 5Professional Electives (ITM pre-fix courses) and 4 Professionally-Related courses in the following disciplines must be taken in order to graduate 2 year completion (CAAT) requires 5Professional Electives (ITM pre-fix courses)

  25. LIBERAL STUDIES IMPORTANT NOTE: • Certain courses cannot be taken for Liberal Studies credit in some programs.   31. RYERSON ONE CARD / PHOTO ID CARD New Fall 2014 Undergraduate students need to apply for their Ryerson OneCard through the online process. This can be done by going to the OneCard website at http://www.ryerson.ca/onecard/gettingthecard/applyonlineand following the links. Deadline for online application: August 15, 2014 After that go in person to one Card Office: Kerr Hall West 73 (KHW-73, Lower Gym)

Curriculum Advising – Advisement Report Part time degree students do not have access to an online advisement report, therefore it will be important for you to keep and update the Unofficial checklist from semester to semester. When you are in your final year, you should request a Manual Advisement Report from Curriculum Advising http://www.ryerson.ca/content/dam/currentstudents/forms/advisement_rep.pdf to confirm your outstanding courses.

  38. GRADE INFORMATION • Grades - used to evaluate your performance in each course. • Letter grades from “A” to “F” are used at Ryerson. Each letter grade is equal to a number called a “grade point” • Your CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is calculated after the completion of 3 courses • More information about Grades & Grade Point Averages is available at www.ryerson.ca/calendar and www.ryerson.ca/studentguide

  39. ACADEMIC STANDINGS • Your academic standing is a statement of your overall academic performance • Academic standings are calculated at the end of every semester.
