  4. 5 Different Types of Sacrifices • Burnt Offering • Grain Offering • Peace Offering • Sin Offering • Guilt Offering

  5. A Word From The Torah • Uses animals, grain and incense. • Very specific instructions.

  6. Leviticus 2:13 CJB “You are to season every grain offering of yours with salt - do not omit from your grain offering the salt of the covenant with your God, but offer salt with all your offerings.”

  7. The Grain Offerings • Cakes. • Roasted gain. • Made into wafers. • Loaves of Bread.

  8. A Word From The Torah • Food for the priests. • Eaten while rejoicing in festivals to Adonai. • SALT must be present in the grain offerings.

  9. Why Salt? • Required • Salt makes things taste better. • But is that the only reason?

  10. What Do We Know About Salt? • Salt is a preservative. • Preserved meat before refrigerators were invented.

  11. Hmmm, now think about this ... • And salt purifies, too! • Like a medicine • God made salt to preserve and purify. • Yeshua calls us believers the “Salt of the Earth” Mattityahu 5:13

  12. Mark 9:50 “Salt is good ; but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

  13. A Word From Yeshua • A good example of God's love • Forgiveness towards others. • It's just like adding salt to a recipe to make it taste better!
