  3. Two different detector models • VV600 Plus • for protection of safes, vaults, steel cabinets etc. • VV602 Plus • for protection of public applications like ATM’s (cash dispensers) and night safe deposit boxes.

  4. New features & improvements • Upgraded electronics, 100% SMT, and detection algorithms • New fresher look of the cover. The cover is only mounted with one screw. • New drill protection covers the whole detector. • New test system.

Why should you use a seismic detector? • No safe or strong room is impenetrable. • Using the VV600/602 Plus gives a 24 hour surveillance without restricting the activity around the protected object. • Early warning gives more time for counter actions. • Early warning will reduce costs for an attack in more than one way.

  25. Planning a vault protection with VV600 Plus • General rule; one detector on each wall, floor and ceiling inside the vault and one detector on/ inside the vault door. • It is recommended to do a layout plan to define the location of each detector.

  26. Protection of a vault • Using a recess mounting box VM602P ensures the best coverage, as the detector is anchored in the reinforcement bars of the concrete.

  27. Planning protection of a safe or filing cabinet with VV600 Plus • Most of the attacks against safes are aimed at the door and the locking mechanism. • The hinges reduces the signal between the door and the body. • For highest security: • one detector on the door • one detector on the body

Testing system • VT705P - built in test transmitter • Daily test of the detector provides the highest level of security. • Mounted on its own mounting bolt, enables test of the detector’s electronics and its physical contact to the protected object. • VT610P - hand held tester • Can be used to test permanent systems and to verify the installation.

Planning guide-lines • Don’ts…. • Don’t assume that covered concrete walls are free of cracks. • Don’t install sensors permanently before determine sensitivity settings and ambient noise level. • Don’t install the detector on unproved masonry surface without contacting Aritech. • Don’t mount the detector on rough surfaces, sand first. • Don’t allow the test transmitter VT705P to have contact with the mounting plate or the detector.
