  2. Check in to ensure you are: • registered for CEUs, • paid for CEUs, • have completed your poster assignment • Place your name on the back side of each of your posters. • Sort your posters along the back wall for the appropriate math practice.

  3. QC2 • Write down any questions, comments, and/or concerns on a post-it note and place it here for discussion later.

  4. Where’s the evidence • Your group will be given a mixture of cards. • Your task is to work together to determine which mathematical practice each task refers to AND if the behaviors displayed are samples of student evidence of samples of teacher evidence. • Organize them on a piece of poster paper and record your answers on the answer sheet.

  10. Investigate cpm • Group by grade level/content. • Look through the resources making sure to take note of any questions, comments, or observations.

  11. Student detectives • Draw a number card from your table. Throughout the lesson today, you will need to look for evidence of this practice. • At the end of the lesson, we will share the ways participants and the instructor modeled/used each practice.

  12. How can I compare the rate? • Let’s look more detailed at one lesson to see if we can get a better understanding of what this may look like in our classrooms.
