  2. Deliverance • Sinful behaviours can possibly be linked to demon influence in a person, whether • Christian or non-Christian. In looking for victory over behaviour or health problems, and • even psychological problems—sometimes deliverance from demonic oppression can be • of immense help. This is especially true where the person plagued with problems has a • history of involvement in cults, the occult, or ancestors involved in such practices • (Exodus 20:5). People most commonly suffering from such bondage include (in order • of likelihood):

  3. 1) Former or current practitioners of the occult, witchcraft, séances, spiritualism, and (of course) Satanism. • 2) Former or current members of cultic or heretical groups which deny the deity of Jesus Christ as Almighty God (i.e. Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Masons, etc.) • 3) Those descended from either #1 or #2. • 4) Those who have been involved in chronic substance abuse; especially with • psychotropic drugs (Marijuana, LDS, peyote, mescaline, etc.) or in fornication or homosexual behaviour. • 5) Those victimized by severe trauma (rape, child abuse, etc.). • 6) Those practicing indiscriminate, promiscuous sexual intercourse with people other than one's spouse—particularly if the sexual partners have ever come from group • #1 or #2.

  4. Spirit of Antichrist • Denies the Deity of Christ (1 John 4:3, 2 John 7) • Possible entry: involvement in eastern religions, Yoga, the martial arts, generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Denial of unique role of Jesus in human history • Against Christ & His teachings- 2 Thess. 2:4, 1 John 4:3 • Denies the Atonement -1 John 4:3 • 2 Thes. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. • 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Spirit of Antichrist • Manifests as: • Humanism- • 2 Thes. 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. • Teachers of Heresies- • 1 John 2:18-19 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. [19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. • Attacks the testimony of Christians (Deceiver) 2 Thes 2:4, 2 John 7 • 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

  6. Spirit of Antichrist • Manifests as: • Attempts to substitute self for Jesus(Lawlessness)- • 2 Thes 2:3-12 • Blasphemes the name of Jesus (Worldly speech & actions)- • 1 John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. • Practices forms of salvation by works rather than grace.-Rev. 13:7 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF TRUTH

  7. Spirit of Bondage • Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. • Possible entry: unrepented sin of lust of the flesh, sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Lack of faith in their salvation in Jesus -Rom. 14:23 • All forms of addictions -2 Pet 2:19 • Anguish of spirit - Ex. 6:9 • Uncontrolled lust, greed or ambition - Prov5:22, John 8:34

  8. 2 Peter 2 • But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. [2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. [3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. [4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; [6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: [8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) [9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

  9. 2 Peter 2 • [10] But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. [11] Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. [12] But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; [13] And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the daytime. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; [14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: [15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; [16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

  10. 2 Peter 2 • [17] These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. [18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. [19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. [20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. [21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Spirit of Bondage • Manifests as: • Besetting or compulsive sin, especially sexual enslavement • Proverbs 5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. • John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. • Bitter roots, bitterness - Job 7:14, 9:10, Prov 14:10 • Compulsive masochistic behaviour, false martyrdom-same as besetting above • Captivity to Satan - 2 Pet 2:19 • Fear of death - Heb. 2:14,15 • Serves the cause of corruption - Rom 7:23, Acts 8:23, Rom 6:16, Lk8:26-29 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF ADOPTION

  12. Deaf and Dumb Spirit • Matthew 17:14-18 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, [15] Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. [16] And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. [17] Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. [18] And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. • Mark 9:25-26 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. [26] And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

Deaf and Dumb Spirit • Possible entry: early trauma in childhood, infancy or prenatal • Manifests as: • Hearing impairment, unwillingness to communicate 'self-punishing behaviours (cutting self —Mark 9:18,20,26) • Self-applied cigarette burns -Mk 9:22 • Head-banging, self abuse -Same • Suicidal ideation -Mk 9:22 • Foaming at mouth Luke 9:39 Mk 9:20 • Gnashing teeth -Mk 9:18 • Untreatable epilepsy, seizures; especially during times of full-moons and/ or other satanic holidays -Mk 9:20,18,26 • Prostration, crying, ear problems, pining away -Mark 9:26 • Mental illness -Mt 17:15, Mk 9:17, 5:5 • LOOSE: HEALING PROVISION MADE IN CHRIST VICTORIOUS ESSURECTION

  14. Spirit of Double-Mindedness &/or Confusion • James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. • Possible entry: lack of faith, refusal to accept the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, refusal to receive sound preaching, unbiblical sexual relationships – • Job 10:15,Ps 44:15,Isa 41:29,45:16, Jer3:25,7:19 • Jeremiah 3:25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God. • Jeremiah 7:19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

  15. Spirit of Double-Mindedness &/or Confusion • Manifests as: • Lack of assurance of salvation • Indecisiveness • Inability to get victory over sin • LOOSE: GOD'S LOVINGKINDNESS & FORGIVENESS

  16. Spirit of Divination or "Power Demon • Acts 16:16-28 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: [17] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. [18] And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. [19] And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, [20] And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, [21] And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

  17. Spirit of Divination or "Power Demon • [22] And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. [23] And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely: [24] Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. [25] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. [26] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. [27] And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. [28] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

  18. Spirit of Divination or "Power Demon • Possible entry: practice of fortune telling, other methods of seeking high knowledge of wisdom—especially trance channelling, Hypnosis*, triggering, generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Mediumistic "skills"—channelling, etc. - Micah 5:12, Isa 2:6 • "second sight," psychic powers - Hosea 4:12, EX. 22:18 • Bondage to astrology, tarot cards, Ouija boards, palmistry, other such practices - Ex. 7:11, 8:7, 9:11 • Practice of hypnosis*, water-witching, etc. - Deut18:11, Isa 19:3 • Drugs -Gal 5:20, Rev 9:21, 18:23, 21:8, 22:15 • Astrology -Isa 47:13, Lev 19:26, Jer10:2 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF TRUTH; THE SPIRIT OF THE GIFT OF FAITH • *Mainly Magical hypnosis from a non-Christian therapist. • Altered states are natural but it depends on what is sought in these states

  19. Familiar Spirit • 1 Samuel 28:7-8 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. [8] And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. • Possible entry: hypnosis, attempting to conjure spirits, ventriloquism*, Dungeons & Dragons, Ouija boards, Tarot cards, Palm reading etc. • Manifests as: • Alleged communications from dead loved ones - Deut18:11,1Chron 10:13 • Memory blocks or fragmented memory - Rev. 9:21, 18:23, 21:8, 22:15 • “Voice" mediumship (Channellerswho speak without lips or vocal chords)1Sam 28:7,8, Isa 8:19, 29:4 • Peeping & muttering -Isa 8:19, 29:4, 59:3 • Severe dyslexia -Jer29:8 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF TRUTH; THE SPIRIT OF THE GIFT OF FAITH • * Allowing a devil/demon to speak through a person without them moving their lips or using the persons vocal chords.

  20. Spirit of Fear • 2 Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. • Possible entry: extreme terror experience from childhood, parental neglect, use of psychedelic drugs, generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: phobic behaviours or paranoia • Profound anxiety, inability to trust God or relate to Him as Father - 1Pet 5:7 • Nightmares, night terrors - Ps 91:5 • Heart failure - Ps 55:6, Lk 21:26, Jn 14:27,14:1 • Inordinate fear of death - Ps 55:4, Heb 2:14,15 • Untrusting, doubt - Mt 8:26, Rev 21:8 • Fear of man - Prov29:25 • Torment/horror - Ps 55:5, l Jn 4:18 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF LOVE, GRACE OF GOD

  21. Spirit of Haughtiness • Proverbs 16:18-19 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. [19] Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. • Possible entry: excessive pride or gossiping, boasting, envy • Manifests as: • Pride, snobbishness • Unteachable, obstinate - Prov29:1, Dan 5:20 • Rebellious to pastoral authority - 1Sam 15:23, Prov29:1

  22. Spirit of Haughtiness • Manifests as: • Bragging or boastfulness - 2 Sam 22:28, Jer. 48:29, Isa 2:11,17, 5:15 • Being argumentative or contentious, Prov 13:10 • Extreme self-righteousness or religiosity - Lk 18:11,12 • Idle - Ezek 16:49,50 • Reject God – Ps 10:4, Jer43:2 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF FORGIVENESS, HUMBLE & CONTRITE SPIRIT

  23. Spirit of Heaviness • Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. • Possible entry: tragedy in life or traumatic experience, sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Depression, despair, no urge to praise God, unpacified, a root of bitterness

  24. Spirit of Heaviness • Manifests as: • Morbid grief - Neh2:2, Prov 15:13 • Loneliness, inner hurts - Lk4:18 • Gluttony, insomnia - Neh2:2 • Self-pity Ps 69:20 • Hopelessness - 2Cor 1:8,9 • Broken hearted - Ps 69:20, Prov 12:18, 15:3, 13, 18:14, Lk4:18 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF HOPE, PRAISE, WORSHIP, TRUTH

  25. Spirit of Infirmity • Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. • Possible entry: generational sin of parents or bad health practices • Manifests as: • Chronic illness or deformity, bent body or spine • Asthma, chronic colds - John 5:5

  26. Spirit of Infirmity • Manifests as: • Frailty or weakness - Lk13:11, Jn 5:5 • Severe feminine disorders or impotency in men - Jn 5:5, Acts 3:2, 4:9 • Arthritis - John 5:5 • Cancer - Lk13:11, Jn 5:5 • Oppression - Acts 10:38 • LOOSE: HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD WITH HIS GIFT OF LIFE

  27. Spirit of Jealousy • Numbers 5:14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: • Possible entry: sexualdefilement, rage, anger- Gen4:5,6, Prov 6:34, 14:29, 22:24,25, 29:22,23 lack of discipline from parents, strife - Prov 10:12 • Manifests as: • Rage, jealousy, resentment, hatred of partner • Cruelty - Song of Sol 8:6

  28. Spirit of Jealousy • Manifests as: • Murder - Gen 4:8 • Hate - Gen 37:3,4,8 • Extreme competitiveness - Gen 4:4,5 • Selfishness, causing divisions - Gal 5:19 • Revenge, spite - Prov6:34, 14:16,17 • LOOSE: ABUNDANCE OF GOD'S LOVE, HEDGE OF PROTECTION

  29. Spirit of Lethargy • Isaiah 29:10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. • Possible entry: This can be a curse from the Lord for refusing to listen to and obey thepreachingof His Word; for improperly criticizing pastors or other elders in the Body; for refusing to obey the Lord, or from sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Sleep disorders, narcolepsy • Apathy, sluggishness, sleepiness - Job 30:17

  30. Spirit of Lethargy • Manifests as: • Chronic exhaustion, "chronic fatigue syndrome" Lam 2:18 • Clinical depression (in absence of medical or environmental causes) Prov. 29:9 • Spiritually "deaf" to God's truth - counterfeit "covering", a false shield is keeping • God's spirit from flowing and giving Its life - Ps 88:17 • LOOSE: SACRIFICES OF PRAISE - Ps 27:6 • Psalm 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

  31. Lying Spirit • 2 Chron. 18:22 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil against thee. • Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: [17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, [19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. • Possible entry: This can also be a curse from God for seeking false prophecies or for "ear-tickling" preaching; or generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Compulsive lying, delusional behavior • Flattery or insincere praise -Ps 78:36, Prov 20:19, 26:28

  32. Lying Spirit • Manifests as: • A religious or ecclesiastical spirit -Gal 5:1 • Profanity, hypocrisy, accusations -Rev 12:10 • Excessive or idle chatter, gossip - 1Tim 6:20,2Tim 2:16 • Superstitions, false Prophecy - 1Tim 4:7, Jer 23:15-17, 27:9.10 • Slander - Prov 10:18 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF TRUTH, CONFIDENCE (FAITH) IN GOD

  33. Perverse Spirit • Isaiah 19:14 The Lord hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. • Possible entry: Curse from God for following false priests or prophets, idolatry, or generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Sexual perversion, addiction to pornography, any indulgence in repeated disobedience to God - Prov17:20,23, 12:8, 14:2, 29:8

  34. Perverse Spirit • Manifests as: • Teaching false doctrine, perverting the Word of God -Isa 19:14, Rom 1:22,23, 2Tim 3:8,2 • Scripture twisting, heresy -Acts 13:10, 2Pe 2:14 • Stubborn, unreasonable-Prov 19:2 • Ingratitude, foolish-Prov 1:22, 19:1, 15:4 • Filthy minded-Prov 2:12, 15:23,33 • LOOSE: THE EXCELLENT SPIRIT (JOB 9:20) (Prov 17:27, Dan 6:3)

  35. Seducing Spirit • 1 Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; • Possible entry: following false prophets or teachers who are involved in carnal sins. Seducing spirits seem to be messengers sent from Satan to specifically deceive believers. • Manifests as: • Searing of the conscience • Seduce, tempt or beguile the person into false doctrine • Causes double-mindedness (see above) • LOOSE: THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, ESPECIALLY IN THE WORD OF GOD

  36. Spirit of Whoredoms • Hosea 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. • Possible entry: worshiping false gods, offering sacrifices to them; other harlotries • against the true God; generational sin of parents. • Manifests as: • Satanism, making pacts with the devil, unfaithfulness generally • Adultery - Ezek 16:15,28; Prov.5:1-14; Hosea 4:13-19

  37. Spirit of Whoredoms • Manifests as: • Prostitution of soul or body - Ezek 16:15,28; Prov 5:1-14 • Self-idolatry - Judges 2:17 Ezek 16 Hosea 4:12 • Love of the world, love of money, food, love of glamour (narcissism, compulsive concern with physique—body-building, etc.) - I Cor 6:13-16, Phil 3:19, James 4:4, Ezek16:28 • Spiritual idolatry - Hosea 4:12 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF GOD, ESP. MERCY OF JESUS CHRIST

  38. Spirit of Slumber • Romans 11:8 According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. • Possible entry: following legalistic religions, serious parental neglect, especially neglect by the father. • Manifests as: • Inability to love, or be truly sexually intimate. • Inability to worship • Spiritual torpor or stagnation • No internalized sense of right or wrong • LOOSE: HOLY SPIRIT GIFTS, ESP. DESCERNMENT

  39. Spirit of Error • 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. • Possible entry: refusal to hear the warnings, counsel of God or Word of God; refusal to apply Biblical tests to doctrines • Manifests as: • (Primarily institution-wide) heretical cults • Contentious - James 3:16; 2 Pe 2; 1Jn 4:6

  40. Spirit of Error • Manifests as: • Running after false doctrines - 1Tim 6:20,21; 2Tim 4:3; Titus 3:10; 1Jn 4:1-6 • Denial of the deity of Jesus Christ - 2 Thessalonians • Aberrant or heterodox Christian teachings -2 Peter 2:10 • Inability to understand simple Biblical truths -Prov10:17, 12:1, 13:18 15:10,12,32; 1Jn 4:6; 2Tim 4:1-4 • LOOSE: SPIRIT OF HUMILITY, SUBMISSION

  41. Devouring Spirit • Malachi 3:8-12 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. [9] Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. [10] Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. [11] And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. [12] And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. • Possible entry: disobedience to God, especially in the area of tithing; or generational sin of parents. The only way to be delivered of this spirit is for the person to obey God's law and tithe.

  42. Devouring Spirit • Manifests as: • Chronic poverty, deep indebtedness • Financial or real estate calamities (natural disasters) • Inability to ever save money. • (Be sure to tithe time-in the form of Bible study and prayer-as well as talents and finances) • LOOSE: THE FULL PROVISION MADE FOR US BY CHRISTS' VICTORY.

  43. Buffeting Spirit • 2 Cor. 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. • This is a specialized problem because this spirit works against ministries. It torments the minister or causes the needs of the ministry to go unmet. God seems to allow this to keep his servants humble. Intercessors are often faced with this and having the covering of your pastor as well as having prayer partners to agree with you often seems to render it less effective.

  44. Legion/Unclean Spirit • Mark 1:26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. • Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. • Mark 5:3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: • Luke 4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, • Luke 8:27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. • Possible entry: the defilement of a child's spirit. This may be the result of physical or sexual abuse, incest or involvement of the child in occult practices or ritualized abuse. Sometimes "imagined" child abuse can also open doorways if the child feels deep within themselves that they have been defiled or violated,

  45. Legion/Unclean Spirit • Manifests as: • Insomnia • Suicidal ideation, self-mutilation • Supernatural strength (a mental pre-occupation with super-heroes) • Morbid fascination with death, human waste, putrefaction or grave-yards; • Extreme inner torment, hears voices, has night mares • Exhibitionism, nudity, homosexuality, promiscuity, sexual perversions • Perfectionistic, extreme performance orientation • Compulsively clean • Reclusive, very rigid and controlled • Anorexia, Bulimia, compulsive over-eating. • Sees God as Mother
