Our Mission To effectively and efficiently promote and support American Indians, Alaska Natives and native Hawaiians in their self- determined goal to provide culturally relevant and quality affordable housing for native people. Founded in 1974 as a 501(c)(3) corporation 271 members representing 463 tribes Guided by a 10-member Board of Directors representing Native housing entities in nine geographical regions throughout the United States.

  3. NAIHC services to its members and the general public include: Advocacy for housing opportunities and increased funding for Native American housing and community development programs; Training in many areas of Native housing management; On-site technical assistance for Native housing professionals; and Research and information services related to Native housing issues and programs.

LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE 2017 Professional Indian Housing Manager (PIHM) Certification: successful completion of eight (8) courses: • Indian Housing Management • Financing Affordable Housing Development or NAHASDA LIHTC Compliance for Professional Certification • Financial Management • Project Management or Acquisition Basics or LIHTC Project Development • Supervisory Management • Admissions & Occupancy or Supportive Housing or Pathways Home • Property Maintenance Management • Environmental Compliance

  6. Registration Fees: NAIHC Member –   $300 Non-Member –       $350 Register in advance and save. An additional $100 onsite fee will be enforced once onsite registration opens on March 6, 2017 www.naihc.net
