Research group linkage programme (1) Aim • to build a sustainable basis for long-term collaboration • to integrate junior researchers Application requirements • one of the applicants is an alumnus/a of the AvH • one of the applicants is working at a research institute in Germany • countries: see current list (industrialized countries are excluded)

Research group linkage programme (2) Funded activities, funding amount and period • reciprocal research visits, joint specialist conferences • academic auxiliary staff, scientific equipment, publications and consumables • up to 55,000 EUR; up to 3 years Assessment criteria • originality of the project, applicants’ academic credentials • potential to promote long-term reciprocal collaboration • integration of junior researchers

  11. Humboldt Kollegs (1) Goal • to strengthen regional and professional networking Eligibility • Humboldt Alumni and Humboldt Alumni Associations • responsibility for planning, concept, and organisation Subject • should cover the full spectrum of a scientific subject area

Humboldt Kollegs (2) Participants • Humboldt Alumni (at least a third) • junior researchers • researchers from Germany as well as other researchers Funding • flat rate of 125 EUR per day and participant; max. 40,000 EUR Programme advertisement and marketing • promotion of AvH programmes, contacts to German colleagues
